Camping on Lake Maggiore: lakeside pitches surrounded by nature

If you love travelling with your motorhome, caravan or tent, the camping area of Lido Verbano Camping Village, set in the greenery of the Ticino Natural Park and directly on Lake Maggiore, is the most authentic way to experience the lake every single day.
Within the tree-lined park by the water, pitches – up to around 200 m² – are spread between the private grass and sand beach, the shaded areas and the central zone close to all facilities. You can choose to wake up with lake views, enjoy the shade of the trees during the hottest hours, or stay just a few steps from the restaurant, beach bar, facilities and activities.

Pitch types: choose your camping style

At Lido Verbano Camping Village you can choose between seven pitch types, designed for different needs and recreational vehicles:
  • Piazzola Lago Prime XL – extra space and a more exclusive lakeside position
  • Piazzola Lago Prime – perfect to stay just a few steps from the beach
  • Piazzola Lago Garden – green pitches close to the beach and main facilities
  • Piazzola Super – generous size in the central area, ideal for larger motorhomes and caravans
  • Piazzola Comfort XL – even more room in the heart of the campsite
  • Piazzola Comfort – the right balance between size, location and services
  • Piazzola Smart – practical central pitches, close to everything
Whatever your idea of an open-air holiday, you will find a pitch designed to offer comfort, privacy and a real connection with nature.

Facilities for motorhomes, caravans and tents

All pitches have electric hook-up (6 or 8 Amps depending on the type); many also offer fresh water and grey water connection directly on the pitch, so you can manage your recreational vehicle independently.
The campsite has three modern sanitary blocks, cleaned on a regular basis, with:
  • free hot showers
  • toilets also suitable for guests with reduced mobility
  • bathroom with changing table and a special area for children
  • sinks for dishes and cookware
  • wash tubs for laundry
For everyday needs, you will also find:
  • free motorhome service area with two filling/emptying points
  • charging stations for electric vehicles
  • laundry with washing machines and dryers
  • free Wi-Fi
  • dedicated dog area and pet-friendly spaces on the beach and in the park

From your pitch to the beach in a few steps

From your pitch you can reach the large private grass and sand beach (about 200 m) in just a few moments, with:
  • lake-view beach bar
  • children’s playground
  • beach volleyball court and fitness area
  • private jetty with boat moorings
  • rental of SUP boards, kayaks, water bikes, pedal boats and small boats
